Community Guidelines

1. Be Real

• •Use your actual identity — no fake personas, catfishing, or impersonation of others
• •Use your real in-game name when registering for tournaments
• •Post content you actually created — no passing off others' clips or screenshots as your own
• •Don't claim ranks, achievements, or stats you haven't earned

2. Play Fair

• •No cheats, hacks, emulators, aim-bots, or any software giving unfair in-game advantages
• •No match-fixing or colluding with opponents to predetermine results
• •Submit only genuine, unedited screenshots for tournament verification
• •Use only the credentials you received for your own registered account — don't share with others
• •No ghosting — if you're a host, run the tournament you created

3. Respect Everyone

• •No hate speech based on caste, religion, gender, sexuality, nationality, disability, or any other characteristic
• •No harassment, stalking, or targeted abuse of any user
• •No threatening language — direct or implied
• •No sexual messages or content sent to any user without explicit mutual consent — and never to minors

Competitive trash-talk is part of gaming culture — there's a line between banter and abuse. Cross it and face action.

4. Keep It Clean (Especially with Minors)

• •This platform is accessible to users aged 13+. Keep all public content — posts, voice rooms, tournament names — appropriate for that age group
• •Do not send sexual, romantic, or intimate content to anyone you don't know, and never to anyone who may be a minor
• •If someone tells you they are a minor or you reasonably believe they are, immediately cease any adult-oriented conversation
• •Report any adult who appears to be targeting minors to safety@hangon.live — this will be acted on within 1 hour

5. Protect Privacy

• •Do not share another person's personal information (phone number, address, school, workplace) without their consent — this is doxxing and is illegal
• •Do not record and share other users' voice room or chat content without their consent
• •Do not scrape or collect other users' profiles in bulk
• •Do not use HangOn to build contact lists for unsolicited outreach

6. No Fraud or Scams

• •No pyramid schemes, get-rich-quick promotions, or fraudulent investment solicitation
• •No selling of HangOn accounts, credits, or tournament spots outside the Platform
• •No impersonating HangOn staff to deceive other users
• •No creating tournaments with no intention of running them

Every piece of content, every profile, and every message has a Report button. Use it. False or malicious reports are themselves a violation of these guidelines.

9. Appeals

If you believe an action against your account was incorrect, appeal to appeals@hangon.live within 14 days. Include your user ID and a clear explanation. Appeals are reviewed within 5 business days.
