App Permissions & Data Notice

This notice explains every permission the HangOn app may request. We only ask for permissions we actually need. You can decline any permission and manually provide the information instead where possible.
Permissions We Request

| Camera | Taking profile photo, scanning QR at venues | Upload from gallery instead / manual check-in |
| Photo / Media Library | Uploading screenshots for tournament proof | Without this you cannot submit match proof — payout blocked |
| Microphone | Voice rooms feature only | You can listen but not speak in voice rooms |
| Location (Approximate) | Showing tournaments and venues near you | You can manually select your city |
| Contacts | Never requested | N/A — we never ask for this |
| Bluetooth | Never requested | N/A |
| Biometrics / Face ID | Optional — faster app login | Use PIN or OTP login instead |
Data Collected Without Permission Dialogs
The following data is collected automatically as part of running the app — no permission dialog appears, but you are informed here:
